Marvel’s Avengers is continuing to receive bad news one after another. This time, a developer of the game confirmed that there is literally no roadmap for the game. It means that the players will have to “reset their expectations about the game”. Bad luck streak for Marvel’s Avengers actually began way earlier, around the announcement in E3 2019. Many people were having doubts about a wide array of subjects regarding the game, mostly gathering around live service nature of the game. And the journey was only downhill since then.
A developer simply took the discussion to game’s Subreddit, and told people that there is not a roadmap for usual updates and content. Since the game is struggling, the team is now focusing on their internal schedule for more critical improvements. As much as some new characters were added to the game, it was not much of a excitement among players.
On the other hand, Crystal Dynamics also works on the new Tomb Raider game so this might even turn the odds against Marvel’s Avengers fans.
