Diablo 4 end game beta test takes place nowadays, but there is something strange going on. This test is supposed to be “confidential”, and people who participates in this end game test stage are expected to keep what they have seen, heard and experienced to themselves. The strange part is that people are sharing their gameplay footage online publicly.
Diablo 4 end game beta test includes content that is reserved for post-campaign part of the game. This includes Nightmare Dungeons, Whispers of the Dead, Fields of Hatred, Paragon Boards, and the game’s newest feature, Helltide. According to Blizzard, there were two reasons for this specific beta test. First one is that they did not want to spoil the full story of Lilith’s return to Sanctuary. Second one is that end game is mostly the attractive part of all Diablo games as people love to grind for power. Therefore, Blizzard wants to make sure that Diablo 4 end game is totally fine when the game comes out.
People who shared their footage also reveal their private test build IDs so it will not be difficult at all for Blizzard to find them and do what is required. A few weeks ago, there were some more footage published from other beta tests too.
Diablo 4 End game beta test is playable on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5, with cross-play and cross-progress for all platforms.
