As the release date slowly comes closer, Dying Light 2 developer Techland gives us more and more details to ramp up the hype. This time they actually gave a pretty impressive detail, to be honest.
According to their words, Dying Light 2 will take 500 (yes, five hundred) hours to complete the entirety of its content. They make this even funnier by saying that walking from Warsaw to Madrid would take 534 hours. As much as we also wonder how many hours it would take to parkour from Warsaw to Madrid with a hungry horde on our tails, that will probably remain a question forever unfortunately.
Completing the main game is obviously much more easier and will take much less time than that. Since there will be many side quests, multiplayer co-op quests etc. the time span quickly goes crazy. Still, it is a very impressive number as they really took their time working on the game so it seems to pay off.
For those who would like to take on the challenge, Dying Light 2 will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Feb. 4, 2022.
