While UK is being the home for Women’s Euro 2022 under an extreme heatwave, women’s football is now having a larger interest from everyone. Electronic Arts apparently noticed this and their next FIFA release will have a part for that.

Electronic Arts shared some details and a trailer for FIFA 23, and there are also women’s club teams from English and French leagues. Game will also have both 2022 men’s competition in Qatar and 2023 women’s competition in Australia and New Zealand, planned for free updates as additional content. This was an addition expected for much earlier years, but at least it is coming now and people are excited to see it. Still, we will have to wait for other leagues to be added in the game.

Another great news for FIFA 23 is cross-play function, and Electronic Arts describe it as a great step in technology. The trailer above also shares some information about this HyperMotion2 technology used in the game, so feel free to watch it.

Last but not least, FIFA 23 will be the last FIFA game as Electronic Arts will be leaving the name due to new agreements. Future games will be called EA Sports FC. Release date for FIFA 23 is September 30th. Game will be available for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Stadia.
