Fall Guys was announced to go free around a month ago, and the date given for this change was 21st of June. The day finally arrived, and indeed we have seen the game going free on Epic Games Store while getting delisted from Steam. If you have not read the press release regarding this transition carefully, it is highly possible that you may have missed the partat the bottom where it mentioned the delisting too.
But no worries, as players on Steam who already owns the game will keep receiving the updates simultaneously with everyone else. It is only that you can not get the game on Steam anymore. This delisting will probably not decrease the player count especially due to the recent crossplay feature added back in February 2022.
This big change comes with a reset for its seasons, new in-game currency (Show-Bucks) and a new progression system. The new first season is also named “Free For All” as a nice catch, and brings a huge arena with new events and locations. Considering their already existing players, developers also gifted them a Legacy Pack with the first season pass and a pack of cosmetics.
Hopefully, this casual and fun game will be around for long years to come.
