Fortnite’s latest season is about to end, and Epic Games has a big event prepared for this special time. This event is called “Collision”, announced to start on 4th of June, 4PM ET. This will also be a one-time event, so make sure to not miss it. Players will be able to queue up for the event 30 minutes before.

The actual content and the story for this event is currently unknown. All we know is that there is a giant pink mech joining the party and some players will probably remember it from 2019. Mech can also be seen in the lobby screen, and there is a huge tower in the middle of the map. Besides the chaos, players will receive an exclusive in-game loading screen and a music track.

Those events in Fortnite are a very special thing for players as they are always original and not just some rinse-and-repeat style of small and temporary changes. They always bring huge changes for the map too. Past events have included an alien invasion, the island flipping itself over, and even a battle with a towering Galactus. In 2019, the entire island was sucked into a black hole and the game was subsequently down for days.

Current season began in March, and so far the most important change was the Zero Build mode where players were unable to build constructs on the battlefield – which suddenly attracted a huge number of oldschool FPS players to take the fight towards the new generation of Fortnite players on their own terms. It was a very fun sight to watch.
