God of War is a truly inspiring series that gathered tons of fans from all around the world. The series have always deserved its success as the titles came out are absolutely stunning, but now some fans will be sad with latest news. According to a Reddit user, Sony will not be bringing cross-gen titles after God of War: Ragnarok.

They also said that “the likelihood of Sony supporting a cross-gen PlayStation release will happen if a developer desperately wants a PlayStation 4 port of their game, which is unlikely.” The Reddit user continued his words and mentioned “from 2023 onward, we will only see PlayStation 5 exclusives from first-party developers along with the shift to PC ports becoming more and more gradual.”

These news are still not confirmed as official by Sony, so it is strongly advised to take them with a grain of salt. It is also worth remembering that Bloomberg published a report about Sony back in January that said we could still see some cross-gen titles from Sony for a couple years more.

Sony has not yet revealed the release date of “God Of War: Ragnarok” but it earlier confirmed the game will be playable on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
