Half-Life: Alyx is the successful VR attempt of Valve as it saw a lot of positive reactions from players and critics both. When a Half-Life game comes out, one thing you could be sure of is that there will also be mods to follow. This rule apparently applies to VR too.
A great mod was announced in recent months, called Half-Life: Alyx – Levitation. The mod will be telling the story after the events of original game, seeing how Alyx and Russell went to save their friends back in the resistance. Story is expected to run around 4 hours or so, but it includes 8 episodes with voice lines and character animations.
Initial impressions about the mod mostly seem to be that the work there equals the quality of what we see from Valve. Some people mentioned that there are performance issues with the mod and they seem to be persistent at this point. Considering the mod is free to play, it is probably worth the wait though.
