Blizzard is revealing 32 new cards for Hearthstone Battlegrounds that come as a part of March of the Lich King expansion. Among these 32 new cards, 16 of them will have the new Undead tribe tag and another 11 of them will have dual tribe tag. Ones with dual tribe tags will be able to utilize synergies for tribe bonuses a lot more efficiently. Best example of these variety-focused cards are Amalgams, as they are very quick to boost in power when supported with right cards.
Undead minions are going to be themed around Reborn and Deathrattle keywords as expected. The full details will be revealed during next few days with their partner streamers and content creators. Besides these new cards, Professor Putricide is returning to the hero pool with a different hero power. His new power will cost 4 gold and allow the player to “craft a custom undead” limited to 3 uses throughout the game. It reminds us the Deathstalker Rexxar, combining beasts.
Moving on, the Quest mechanic is unfortunately being removed. It used to be a nice and fun mechanic for some players out there. Rewards track is also being refreshed, and first Twitch Drop is on its way. You can earn Lightkeeper Xyrella skin by watching a channel with drops for one hour.
