Hello Neighbor 2 developers confirmed that the game is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This release will be coming along with previously announced PC and Xbox versions.
Senior Community Manager Ariana Spandl said “Today I am both honored and excited to pick up the torch, or flashlight in this case, and announce to you all that Hello Neighbor 2 will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5! We are doubly excited to announce that Hello Neighbor 2 beta is coming on April 7, 2022.”
A better news is that fans will be able to participate in the exclusive beta access if they pre-order. Pre-order period will be announced later for PlayStation Store.
The story of the first game was quite simple. It was focused on breaking into the basement of their creepy neighbor, one way or another. In this second game though, players will be playing as Quentin. Quentin is a reporter, investigating cases of missing townspeople. Original protagonist, Nicky Roth, will also be seen during the investigation of those cases.
Game is said to have a much larger world with a lot more news characters included within. Needless to say, you will be able to interact with them in the same ways as you interact with others. But you are warned – you will have to be “double careful” this time. AI will be a greater obstacle against you and outsmarting it will take much more effort.
