A job posting on the ZeniMax Media site that MachineGames is looking for an AI programmer has sparked expectations for Wolfenstein 3.
The job posting mentions the ability to “understanding multiplayer bots as human replacements.” This raises questions about whether a new Wolfenstein game is coming.
In June, Bethesda’s Pete Hines told GameSpot that he could put himself at the top of the list of those who want to see a new Wolfenstein game. However, he added that it is too early to announce plans for a new Wolfenstein game.
When we look at Bethesda’s current roadmap, we see that Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 are ahead of us. Therefore, it seems that we need to keep our expectations low for Wolfenstein 3.
