Dead By Daylight has been a pretty popular multiplayer horror-survival game so far and it is almost the game’s sixth anniversary. Both the player count and viewership of streaming players is going strong year after year. The co-op element in the game multiplies the fun and thrill at the same time, while the asymmetrical balance between four survivors and one killer is absolutely gold. Alongside the success of game mechanics, there are also cosmetics and crossovers with various other works.

In today’s news, patch 5.7.1 is announced to be live on Twitter by the developers. This patch is more like a “bugfix patch”, addressing some issues in the game. For example, Ghost Face chase music has had its volume lowered as it was a bit too high, almost disturbing. This is announced to be a temporary solution though, and developers mention that the studio is working on a new music. Other fixes are usually around minor issues like the Killer not being able to pick up a Survivor at the bottom of the basement stairs.

Speaking of the sixth anniversary, there will be a special broadcast for it alongside the celebrations in June. Besides all the fun and celebrations, we are going to see Year 7 Roadmap for the game in addition to some upcoming quality of life improvements, additional updates to things like gameplay, and the reveal of Chapter 24. If you want to watch the broadcast, mark May 17th on your calendar.
