The next game for Need For Speed is currently in development. Criterion Games has been developing the recent installments of this legendary racing series, and this time they are trying some relatively new methods on the game. Apparently they are going to mix a photo-realistic art style with anime elements.
This is clearly a combination hard to imagine before seeing it with our own eyes, and even more difficult to expect that it will actually suit the series. Experimenting is part of the process with these long series, but sometimes it can backfire really hard. We are only hoping that this will not be a big disappointment, and maybe even become something we are very happy to see after long years of lacking the good old Need For Speed taste.
