Nightingale is a crafting and survival game with a Victorian touch, developed by Inflexion Games that is founded by former BioWare employees. While the theme of survival is pretty straight with gathering resources and gearing up, the atmosphere of dangerous realms give the game a different feeling.

Recently, a Twitter post shared mentioned a delay for the game. Expectations were at least an early access during 2022, but now the launch is delayed to the first half of 2023.

Studio says that the first reason for this delay is the transition to Unreal Engine 5. They decided that the potential of Unreal Engine 5 is huge for their work so they want to make it happen before game launches.

Second reason is more generic and understandable, as they want to maximize the quality of all game and its content so there will not be a huge issue once the game launches. With this extra time taken, they will be able to provide a much better game ready to enjoy. After recent bad launches in last two years, we can not say that it is a bad decision either.
