Nintendo Switch Sports has a lot of players around the world that shares a relatively different taste of gaming. While it may not be the most famous kind, Nintendo is serving a solid fanbase over the platform.
In their latest update, 1.2.1, the company found a bug and immediately took the servers offline in order to fix this problem. During this downtime, online play and save data backup functions are down. This situation is also announced on Twitter by Nintendo, as the bug caused a shutdown for the game during pre-match loading screen for some players.
This bug affects offline play mode too, so it is not a surprise that Nintendo had to take a very serious precaution such as taking down the servers. Currently there is not a timeframe for the expected solution yet.
