Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti was announced before, but not yet given a release date until now. Finally we know when people will be able to buy those GPUs – 29th of March. Reviews will also be coming then.

The long-awaited hardware was announced back in January 2022 at CES. It was supposed to be launched at the end of January, but it did not happen. Obviously, the stocks will be limited and prices will be high so if you want to get one, make sure that you have the budget and the speed. There was no reason provided for the delay mentioned above though.

Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti may be the last Ampere RTX 30 series card before Nvidia finally makes the transition to RTX 40 series which is expected to happen during the second half of 2022. Its specs include 10752 CUDA cores with 24GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory connected to a 384-bit memory bus. This will deliver up to 1TB/s of bandwidth. While the original hardware is expected to come with PCIe Gen 5 16-pin power connectors, custom cards may still hold 8-pin power connectors to keep compatibility with current power supplies. It seems that Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti will be a power hungry one, but definitely fast.
