A couple months ago, there were rumors of new Silent Hill games. The water is heating slowly now as the director of the Silent Hill movie claims that Konami has several games in development for the franchise.
Christophe Gans, the director of 2006 Silent Hill movie says that he knows a bit about the next game as he works with the original creators. According to his words, he also collaborates with Konami. Details include that Konami has several teams working for several games all around, as they are committed to revive the series. His comments are not the only ones that indicate upcoming Silent Hill games, so it may be quite closer than we imagine.
In recent news, South Korea’s Game Rating Committee rated an unannounced Silent Hill game which is called “Silent Hill: The Short Message”. The publisher was UNIANA, a company that works with Konami for South Korea region. We would not be surprised if we see some serious announcements until the end of 2022.
