Sam & Max is definitely an old name in the gaming history, but most players do not remember it as the trends changed quite an amount since years. The reason for Sam & Max being old is that it was actually a comic series back in late 80s and then it received its own video game in early 90s. The franchise had a relatively long series of sequels, and now we are about to get a remaster for one of them.
Skunkape Games released a new trailer for the returning title, Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Remastered. Game is expected to be released in 2023, and seems to be the wildest one in the series so far. When we say wild, Sam & Max is already a wild series but this game is getting wild even according to their own standard.
Skunkape Games is a team that includes the former members of Telltale, who also developed the older games back then. The name might ring some bells if you have seen the alien space gorilla General Skun-ka’pe. There are not much details about the new game yet, but 2023 will probably bring a lot of them pretty quick.
