Overwatch 2 still brings us quite interesting news. This time, a Reddit user raises the quesiton about why some retailers are still selling Overwatch 1 when the game is already shut down. An inevitable follow-up question is, of course, what happens when someone buys it and installs the game.
Normally, first guess for anyone is that the game won’t work and the buyer will be scammed. But surprisingly, this is not the case. After the install, launcher will transfer you to Overwatch 2 which is free to play. Even better, legendary edition includes 15 skins that will transfer to Overwatch 2. Some of those skins are really expensive, so getting an old copy is actually not a scam but even better than buying the skins via in-game store. Merging process had some problems with transferring all the content, so this turns out to be a quite a jackpot.
