Parent company of Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive is goning for DMCA claims again. This time, they are sending out copyright-related requests to a modder who works on GTA5, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mafia Trilogy VR mods. Modder Luke Moss is releasing his work on his Patreon page, and he says that his work is not using anything from Take-Two Interactive’s software, or exploiting it.

Luke Moss makes and releases mods not only in the games mentioned above, but also he works on games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Dark Souls: Remastered, Cyberpunk 2077, and Elden Ring too. In further details of the DMCA claims by Take-Two, Luke Moss says that the request does not seem to be related with the monetization aspect as it is not a licensing matter, but it rather aims the copyright issues directly.

He says he wanted to contact Take-Two directly on this matter, and Patreon also agreed to provide a channel for this communication. At this stage, the modder is hopeful that there may be a peaceful solution to this as he firmly believes that none of his work is hurting Take-Two in any way.
