Wizards of the Coast, publisher of the Dungeons & Dragons, is reported to cancel at least five video games and terminate several positions in the company. The unfortunate news came by a report from Bloomberg.

The report also mentions that developers Otherside Entertainment and Hidden Path Entertainment are going to be feeling the impact as they are currently working on some games for Wizards of the Coast. The company says that they are going to remain committed to digital games, and this decision is made in order to focus on certain games which are expected to develop the existing brands.

Wizards of the Coast is yet to break into the industry with a notable title, as their recent attempts in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance was not fully praised back in 2021. The actual reason seems to be rooted to the owner of the Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, seeing serious issues during the release of Magic: The Gathering. This period is being stated as the reason of company stocks losing a critical amount of value.
