A pretty strange game is finally coming out of 3-year-long Early Access state. Called World of Horror, this indie horror survival game is one-of-a-kind title with its stylish aesthetic tone. The game went into early access state in February 2020, and it was being updated constantly since then.
World of Horror is still a quiet game in terms of the fame gained so far. Considering that the early access state has been ongoing since 3 years, there are only a relatively small group of fans who are following its progress. But this period is probably about to end with the full release. With the current state of the game, a lot more people are probably going to notice it.
The latest update, Blood Moon, came in October, bringing new items, mysteries and character origins. Game’s description says that it is a “1-bit love letter to Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft that has a hellish roguelike reality with turn-based combat and unforgiving choices”. Game is currently available on Steam, and also you can play its demo on itch.io.
