Activision organized an event to showcase what they call “the future of Call of Duty”. During the event, we had some great insights about the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 game, but more exciting part was where people finally saw some news about Warzone 2.0.

Warzone 2.0 will launch on 16th of November for consoles and PC. The game is mentioned to be the “most ambitious release in Call of Duty history”, as it is a fully revamped Warzone. Map in Warzone 2.0 is set in a desert region, Al Mazrah, and it will have multiple circles appearing as one of the most outstanding differences. Besides, there will be AI enemies and a sandbox mode. Game will be using the same engine as Modern Warfare 2.

Mobile version of Warzone 2.0 will launch in 2023, and it will still support 120 players on mobile devices with some mobile-specific events, playlists and content. Best news is that there will be cross-progression feature and some connection between two versions. This includes shared battle pass too.

First step in this new Call of Duty era will be taken with the launch of Modern Warfare 2, on 28th of October. One of the most surprising features of this new game is third-person mode, and it is currently welcomed with mixed reactions. Beta testing will begin soon, and we all will have the answers for our remaining questions.
