Still fighting to save the game eventually, Battlefield 2042 developer DICE now confirmed that game is going to be available in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play libraries before long. Expected date for this change is the launch of Season 3. Speaking of which, Season 3 is also under development. A video shared back on Thursday shows us some information about what’s to come.

The video looks impressive, almost making us forget the disastrous launch of Battlefield 2042. A lot of players might want to take a look at the game and give it another shot after Season 3 begins. There will be a free trial period for all platforms, one by one. For Xbox players, 1-4 December is the time. In case you are using Steam, you will also be able to enjoy the game for free between December 1-5. PlayStation users will have to wait a bit, but also they will enjoy the longest free trial period between 16-23 December.

Season 3 is called “Escalation”, and it is expected to be fully revealed in November. A class system is one of the biggest changes that will probably make the Battlefield fans happy. Maps are also being evolved. Electronic Arts promised four seasons of live service content for its first year, but DICE mentioned yesterday that more content is also on the way. According to their announcement, Season 4 is already in pre-production.
