Playground Games has caused some mixed reviews with its latest installment of Forza Horizon. While the open world of Mexico is indeed a great choice for the variety in racing, players were occasionally criticising the game in a few matters.

But there was one common ground all Forza fans gathered in a very positive response, and it was the Hot Wheels expansion. If you are wondering about how it will happen in Mexico, no worries. The showcased map reveals that the Hot Wheels content is actually a structure placed in the sky, not on dry lands of Mexico. It is not known if there will be any crossover, but currently it does not seem to be the case.

This Hot Wheels map will apparently have three different and separate floating islands with different biomes. One of them will be more green with forests, rivers and foliage. Second one will be rocky, snowy and occasionally featuring pits of lava. Last one will take us to deserts and canyons.

In the middle, there is a connection network consisting of orange and blue tracks. If you look up close, you can see a lot of flips, drops, jumps etc. Playground Games clearly prepared for this content in a determined way.

Hot Wheels expansion is expected to launch on 19th of July. You can buy it separately for $19.99, or get it in the Forza Horizon 5 Expansion Bundle which is sold for $35.99. Another choice is that if you do not own the game yet, you can buy Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition for $79.99 to get everything the game has to offer.
