Turtle Rock Studios announced a new Back 4 Blood expansion in their recent tweet. The announcement mentioned a whole new act, and a mysterious cult existence in the game. The expansion does not have a release date as Turtle Rock Studios clearly stated that they need more time for this addition.
Both second and third expansion will be free for players who have Annual Pass. If you like Back 4 Blood, purchasing the Annual Pass seems like a good investment rather than paying separately for all expansions.
While the expansions are indeed exciting, the free updates and balancements are also coming up time after time. Turtle Rock Studios had a little rough launch with the game, but their current pace at developing the game into something much better than what it was at launch is looking promising.
