In some earlier news, Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi mentioned that he was considering the possibility for a PC version of Gran Turismo 7. Those words were interpreted as a solid plan for a PC release since some time.
With these rumors getting louder, he was asked during a recent interview about this possibility being real or not. He clearly rejected these rumors, and said that “he only considered the possibility as a developer”. There is not any work about it, and he is not doing anything about it.
During the 25th anniversary of the franchise, Yamauchi also confirmed that the whole series sales surpassed 90 million units as of 16th of November, 2022.
