As VGC reported on 17tf of September, Nintendo might be getting ready to announce a new controller for Nintendo Switch. According to the documents Nintendo has recently filed to the FFC, Nintendo mentions a new game controller and said that the details about the new device would be kept confidential.
So far we know that the new controller’s manufacturer number is HAC-043. This confirms that the new controller is related to Nintendo Switch since Switch related hardware carries HAC prefix. Nintende also asked FCC to keep everything related to this new controller hidden, including images, diagrams and manuals.
Nintendo is planning to keep this new controller as a secret for the next sixth months and we can expect to hear an announcement for the new controller after half a year.
