Facing one problem after another, Overwatch 2 indeed had its share of rough launches. From gameplay to its servers, we have seen most types of issues we could imagine. They are already handling some of those issues, and after handling them they have a compensation in mind.
The compensation will be several double XP weekend events, and a Cursed Captain Reaper Legendary Skin and Health Pack Weapon Charm for everyone who longs in between October 25 and the end of second season.
The timeframe of double XP weekends is not shared yet. Before those pieces of compensation though, Blizzard still has to overcome the problems Overwatch 2 is having. They confirmed that there will be a patch this week which will cover a wide list of issues including the one that actually prevents you from accessing your owned heroes. According to their words, this is caused by a server.
Considering the much more bigger problems such as Torbjörn and Bastion being pulled back to the workshop, this last one sounds relatively simple.
