Double Fine have announced that their upcoming game Psychonauts 2 is going gold just before it’s release on August 25th.
Psychonauts 2 is one of the biggest projects Xbox Game Studios is coming up with this year with Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5. The Raz’s second adventure will come out on August 25th after years of development.
When a game “goes gold” it usually means that it’s ready to be printed to discs and shipped worldwide but considering that Pyschonauts 2 won’t have a physical release, we assume that the game is ready to be uploaded to platforms which the game will be published.
The pre-load is currently available on Xbox consoles only, so if you already pre-ordered the game you can go ahead and download the game.
Psychonauts 2 will be launching on August 25th for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
