Skyblivion is a large project that brings Oblivion’s world into Skyrim’s engine. There were older examples such as Morroblivion and Skywind. Understandably, some fans are very impatient for the content. Team finally released an official trailer which provides an expected release date.
Don’t get your hopes too high though, as the team says that the mod should be done by 2025. As much as it sounds sooner than The Elder Scrolls 6 itself, it it still some time to wait. Modders say that “it takes a huge amount of time since it is a project that equals the size of a AAA game, where fulltime developers take years to make”.
They are also open for volunteers and there is a page for application in case you would like to check and see if you might be a good fit. If you would like to re-experience Oblivion with a fresh breathe, then you might also give a hand and help the team to make things faster.
