A recent announcement from Square Enix confirmed that their upcoming PlayStation title Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth Remaster is delayed to December 22. The expected launch alongside Valkyrie Elysium is also cancelled after this delay. They have shared the announcement post on Twitter.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth Remaster was actually a bonus gift for people who pre-ordered Valkyrie Elysium Digital Deluxe Edition on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game is ported from its PSP version with some new features mostly focusing on quality of life. It is known that people in Japan can buy this game separately but other territories are not known yet.
Valkyrie Elysium will launch on 29th of September for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, while PC release will follow on 11th of November. PC version is not going to include Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth Remaster at this point, but it is not known if it will change. Last but not least, PC release will coincide with a free DLC release for the game. It will include new areas, game mode and new difficulties.
