After the Capcom announcements this week, there is a nice surprise by the company. To celebrate the announcements for Street Fighter 6 and the second version of Capcom Arcade Stadium, we are having the arcade version of Street Fighter 2 free on Steam. This game is literally the reason that we are still playing Street Fighter series today.
The game is actually a part of Capcom Arcade Stadium. That is a container app, essentially free, but the game packs that are available with it are paid content so you can choose and buy any pack of games you want. Only free game that comes with it is the 1943 – Battle For Midway. For a limited time, you can also get Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior if you add the bundle to your account, so do not miss it.
Speaking of which, second version of Capcom Arcade Stadium is being released with another 32 games within. Here is the game list below.
