Xbox App is bringing a new feature for PC users, and it is actually a great one. The feature is called ‘Game Performance Fit Indicator’, and it gives you an estimated rating about how well your PC might run a game. Currently it may not be a perfect pinpoint estimation, yet having an idea that is relatively accurate is still a great benefit for any gamer.
In the blog post shared for introducing this new feature, it is mentioned that the initial phase for this feature will heavily rely on the data collected from users over time. A game will require some data first to turn it into a useful estimation for your range of performance. Only then it will be able to provide a proper and accurate information about the possible performance you might see on your own PC.
So it will not be a magic trick right off the bat, but great things take time and it will be probably worth the wait.
