It is no wonder that many players worldwide were waiting impatiently for the release of God of War on Steam. Game was a huge success back in PlayStation and it was inevitable for the title to be unsuccessful once it comes for PC. Still though, God of War already overtook Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone on Steam statistics in quite a short time.
PC port of the game was released on 14th of January, and saw a peak of 73,529 concurrent players. Horizon Zero Dawn had it at 56,557 and Days Gone is left behind with 27,450 peak concurrent players. If that is not enough, 97% rating on Steam could also make a point about it too. On the technical side, God of War is also the best optimized one among the three despite there are still some lacking things like FOV slider, fullscreen support, AA solution etc.
PC players are also in luck as these three games are also available on Epic Games Store, making the player base for both the three initial releases and future releases like Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
