There was a collectible card and tactics game called Duelyst several years ago, which was eventually shut down after players abandoning the game. It began its journey with quite a success, as graphics and gameplay seemed to be really satisfying though. Now Dream Sloth Games decided to make a free-to-play sequel for Duelyst.
The sequel is called Duelyst 2, and the gameplay seems mostly preserved except some rebalancement. Players now draw two cards instead of one, and some high-powered cards are nerfed. Positioning and tactics will still be very important, maybe even more than they were in the first game.
Dream Sloth Games is the team behind RPG called Godfall back in 2020, so you may be familiar with their previous work. Duelyst 2 free beta is currently on Steam.
