Enjoying its fame in a more quiet manner, Multiversus is apparently bringing some surprises soon. A user found a string of code in the new Multiversus update that references to “Goonies” as a character universe code. An example is that Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are referred to with “DC Character universe code”.
This finding may mean that we are likely to see a whole new group of characters coming in under the entire group of Goonies. Or, it could be just one character but has its own tag.
For those who don’t know, Goonies is an adventure comedy film released back in 1985. The director was Richard Donner. Film tells the story of a group of kids that go on an adventure to find the fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary pirate from 17th century. During their adventure, they are also chased by a criminal family who also want the treasure.
This is surely not the first time someone finds new content for Multiversus among the codes, but it is still exciting.
