Games Done Quick is one of those organizations who are running a lot of events for the charities. This time they have brought up 3 million dollars for the organization called Doctors Without Borders. This organization is providing medical aid to the people impacted by wars, disasters and a lot of bad situations.
That were a lot of great speedrun attempts for a lot of games during the event, including Elden Ring. The event previously had to be held online because of the pandemic in recent years. Still though, the event saw a great success every single time and raised up a lot of money for charity organizations. The livestreams are run on Twitch, and YouTube channels now have the replays of those events by Games Done Quick.
With this last event, the total money raised for the charities since 2010 has surpassed 40 million dollars. What a brilliant work.
